Your mission
- Lead and mentor a team of system administrators, responsible for building, maintaining, and ensuring high availability of our DC, cloud infrastructure and tools.
- Manage Team resources effectively, including project prioritization and on-call coverage.
- Support the business and product strategies, leading and driving innovation in hosting and orchestration of the products.
- Lead the adoption of new technologies that can improve infrastructure performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Encourage and drive innovation within the infrastructure team, fostering a culture of experimentation and improvement.
- Own the planning, prioritisation, communication, and delivery of infrastructure projects.
- Identify, plan, and forecast budget required for development and upgrades to the infrastructure to support growth, ensuring cost-effective use of resources, maintaining high performance and availability of our service.
- Support cross functional teams in ensuring infrastructure meets current and future needs.
- Collaborate effectively with all internal stakeholders and external support services, managing third party vendor relationships.
- Ensure systems, tools, hardware, and support is maintained, replaced/upgraded when appropriate.
- Oversee infrastructure hosting projects, including the migration of on-premise applications to public cloud in collaboration with external IT support teams, devops engineers, architects, cyber experts and developers.
- Ensure that infrastructure meets regulatory compliance standards and is aligned with industry best practices for security and data privacy
- Report regularly on performance KPIs
- Maintain disaster recovery plans and ensure regular testing and updates to these plans
- Supporting the team in monitoring and reacting to customer topics and incidents
